In Rent Please!-Landlord Sim, you play as the child of a property mogul who has decided to strike out on their own. However, after unfortunate encounters, you eventually come back to your father and agree to inherit the job of being a landlord. With an assistant assigned to you, you’re tasked with improving the apartment complex’s rooms and objects, as well as its facilities like the gym and laundromat.
The main goal here is to enrich your budding community with more tenants and better housing. You build apartments, supply them with furniture and appliances, and recruit tenants. These people will also have demands from the facilities, so you need to build and develop those as well. Plus, they’ll sometimes ask for advice and might reward you—or even leave—depending on what you say.
There’s also a checklist that will reward money and progress points toward your level, which will unlock new areas, items, tenants, and locations. You also get a personal room you can decorate. The only downside here is that the tenants’ apartment furniture can’t be personalized, and they’ll all look the same. Fortunately, the game doesn’t aggravate you with ads suddenly playing. You can choose to watch them for rewards.
